| Tears Falling as Rain is a mixed media painting composed of acrylics and oils, along with material to add texture to the painting. As with all of Denton's most recent paintings, Tears Falling as Rain is rich with elaborate design effects. Using the symbols of the eye, the leaf with roots in the earth, and the hand to unite heaven and earth, this becomes an impressionistic rendering of rain gently falling to the earth. |
