THE KING'S HUNTSMAN

The King's Huntsman was self-published in 1997 as the first in a series of a potential collection of Renaissance Festival themes. The original oil painting remains in the artist's private collection. The King's Huntsmanis essentially a montage of images from Denton's own photographs that he took while visiting a large Renaissance Festival in Texas.

The theme of The King's Huntsman is a colorful procession of characters - a flower bedecked mare; a falconer (The King's Huntsman), a darling dancing bear, a knight in full armor, and a castle in the background. The King's Huntsman was created to be a magical and joyful experience of color and design.
